Thankfully, that is not the case and the Apple Watch is perhaps the smartwatch to use for fitness. Duplicate file checker. However, there are a lot of ins and outs of the fitness portion of the Watch that you may not be aware of. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap Workout > Workout View. Tap Multiple Metric or Single Metric. Here are the steps to adjust your calorie goal: • Press the Digital Crown to bring up the home screen • Scroll and select the Activity app from the Home Screen • Use Force Touch and press down on the display • Tap on Change Move Goal • Adjust the goal using the ‘ +‘ and ‘ –‘ buttons • Tap Update How to view your Activity progress from the Apple Watch Once you have set your daily calorie goal, you will want to keep track of how much you have been moving. While your Watch will try to get you up and moving throughout the day, you will still want to check your progress. The Activity app on your Watch provides all of the information you need. • Press the Digital Crown to bring up the home screen • Select the Activity app from the Home Screen • Scroll down using your finger or the Digital Crown to view breakdowns of each activity There are three different screens for you to view. ![]() The first shows how much progress you’ve made on closing your rings. How to view Weekly Summary It’s all fine and dandy if you want to view your daily goals and progression. However, from time-to-time, you’ll likely want to also check out your weekly progress. This is also done via the Activity app, and can be performed with the following tasks: • Press the Digital Crown to bring up the home screen • Select the Activity app from the Home Screen • Use Force Touch and press down on the display • Tap Weekly Summary The Weekly Summary will show you the total for the following categories: • Calories • Avg. Calories • Steps • Distance • Flights Climbed There is also a bar graph at the top showing some of your best days. There is also a brief summary of how many days that you bested your daily calorie goal.
